As creatives, we hoped that we could make design more accessible to everyone and thus Photo Candy was born. From the ground up we developed this idea into a working app that allows users to design at their fingertips.
Over 5 million downloads worldwide to date with an average rating of 4.7 out of 5. We were directly responsible for the concept, wireframing, prototyping, user experience, user interface, branding, marketing, & all content you see within the app.
We started by crafting user personas and a target demographic. From there we were able to determine a color palette & look that would attract young creative types. Pulling insights from current trends & our competitors we built a brand guide that would set us apart while still being relevant to our core audience.
From start to finish we conceptualized, built wireframes, designed mockups, tested prototypes, managed development, and launched Intermix into the App Store. By handling the process end to end we are able to maintain oversight and ensure that the end product is of the highest quality.
To ensure a successful launch of Intermix we leveraged our social media network of over 700,000 followers, our e-mail list of over 75,000 people, and push notification list of over 750,000 users to drive downloads in the initial release from launch.
