We were originally inspired by INSA, who was creating gif-fiti art in the streets across the globe. Gifx and all products that DNA Apps creates is about that creative spark you get when inspired by something or someone.
Over 5 million downloads worldwide to date with an average rating of 4.7 out of 5. We were directly responsible for the concept, wireframing, prototyping, user experience, user interface, branding, marketing, & all content you see within the app.
We started by crafting user personas and a target demographic. From there we were able to determine a color palette & look that would attract young creative types. Pulling insights from current trends & our competitors we built a brand guide that would set us apart while still being relevant to our core audience.
From start to finish we conceptualized, built wireframes, designed mockups, tested prototypes, managed development, and launched Gifx into the App Store. By handling the process end to end we are able to maintain oversight and ensure that the end product is of the highest quality.
To ensure a successful launch of Gifx we leveraged our social media network of over 700,000 followers, our e-mail list of over 75,000 people, and push notification list of over 750,000 users to drive downloads in the initial release from launch. Within a year Photo Candy had amassed over 1 million downloads & continues to have a 4.5 out of 5 star rating on the App Store with over 5 million downloads worldwide.
